- SharePoint Online is included in Microsoft 365 Business Basic and above — no additional licence required for most features

SharePoint Admin Center Overview & Navigation
The SharePoint admin center interface, key sections (Sites, User profiles, Content services, Policies, Settings), site types (Team site, Communication site, Hub site), modern vs classic SharePoint, and admin roles.
Site Management — Create, Configure & Delete
Creating site collections (Team site, Communication site), managing storage quotas, site status (Active/Read-only/Locked/Deleted), site creation controls, restoring deleted sites from the Recycle Bin, and managing site aliases.
Sharing & External Access Policies
Tenant-wide sharing settings, per-site sharing overrides, domain allow/block lists, link types and expiry, OneDrive sharing controls, and the relationship between SharePoint external sharing and Entra B2B.
Permissions & Access Control
SharePoint permission levels, SharePoint groups (Owners, Members, Visitors), permission inheritance and breaking inheritance, unique permissions on lists/libraries/items, sharing links, and the People Picker.
Content Services — Term Store, Content Types & Search
Term store and managed metadata taxonomy, creating term sets and terms, content types (site and list level), content type hub and publishing, SharePoint Search configuration, and Microsoft Search integration.
