⚡ Common Troubleshooting Scenario
Issue: A Power Automate flow is failing because a connector is blocked by a DLP policy, and the user cannot modify the flow.
1️⃣ Navigate to Power Platform admin centre → Policies → Data policies and identify which DLP policy is blocking the connector
2️⃣ Review the connector classification — the connector may be in “Non-Business” group while the flow uses “Business” connectors in the same environment
3️⃣ Determine if the block is at tenant level or environment level — tenant-level DLP policies override environment policies
4️⃣ If the connector is legitimate for business use, reclassify it to the “Business” group in the relevant DLP policy
5️⃣ If the flow is in a default environment, consider moving it to a dedicated environment with a more permissive scoped policy
6️⃣ Communicate DLP policy changes to affected users and document the exception for governance records
